1 Year Professional Foundation Course with a Full Scholarship just announced!
Our 1-Year vocational Professional Foundation Course is for students who have perhaps already completed A-Levels or equivalent, and is the perfect stepping stone to prepare you for auditioning for drama school or performing arts college, university etc. The minimum age is 17.
You will focus on audition and performance techniques and develop the skills that will build the foundation to propel you to the next steps in the industry. Foundation students work with all our top West End tutors and industry guests and have access to all the training at LCPA including acting-through-song, audition technique, and monologue/singing repertoire.
As one of the leading UK performing arts colleges, we regularly welcome senior teams from degree level courses for in-house auditions and masterclasses.
You will work with our experienced team to build a strategy for achieving your goals including audition preparation, application and technique. How much emphasis you place on dance, acting and singing will depend on your strengths and your needs.
Entry to the course
Entry is by audition only. Please see our Audition page for info on how to prepare for your audition and to apply.
We are proud to be offering a full One Year Scholarship for this course. All applicants will be eligible and will be considered for the scholarship.
If you have questions about auditioning for us, please get in touch.
Fees & accommodation
The Foundation Course is a private course and as such, fees are payable.
Some students may however be eligible for financial assistance through our private bursary fund - please contact us to discuss your needs. Otherwise, students are required to meet course fees, info available on application.
Our students will need to make arrangements to cover the cost of tuition. Students moving from outside of the area will also need to factor living costs, and we will do our best to help students who are looking for local accommodation by working with host families and connecting students who may wish to share.
